The Great Sedona & Verde Valley Chili Cook-Off

For this sculpture, Ken worked with live Gambel's qual models.  Ken began a series of qual bronzes that were being inspired, along with a friendship that was growing, with these unlikely creatures.  Many books have been written on the life of quails who are more complex in their emotional make-up than one might think.

"Chickadee" is an open edition sculpture from Ken Rowe's Wired series of quail - created as unique, small sculptures for his collectors desiring a smaller masterpiece.
