Small - 12 inch butterfly
Inspired by dreams, viewing art and just getting in her studio. For Andrea, from childhood art has evolved, first as a printmaker, in woodcuts and intaglio. She received a grant in printmaking leading to graduate work in drawing and printmaking at ASU. Worked in fine art print production as Head Etcher at Accent Graphics. Torn between wanting to be both an artist and a writer - now she does both. Andrea has spent two years as a Resident Artist at the Shemer Art Center. Recently had a one person show entitled Why at The Millet House with twenty paintings.
The fabulous, intricate wings of butterflies and a lifestyle from a worm like creature into a glorious airborne light for the world.
