H. SmithGearns is an Arizona native, growing up in Northern Arizona. She has traveled some of the United States,and parts of Asia, with her Husband and Two children. She is also a grandmother of one perfect grandson. Currently living in the desert southwest. She has been an artist her whole life,and has worked in many different media. Recently in acrylic on canvas,and wooden cradles. She also Knits, and is looking into exploring fiber art. Also, currently a Board member/ and part of the artist's collective council for The Millet House Gallery and community space. And an artist with the art group Arthena- based in the Phoenix area. Mostly a self taught artist, she loves to use color and form to explore what it is to be human.
