I was inspired by a watercolor painting long before I tried to paint one. I love the velvety texture of the paper and the effects that emerge as the water and paint are applied. My execution is loose and stylized with bold color. I don’t have any desire to produce a replica of a landscape, cityscape, or portrait; my goal is to enhance it, simplify it, and make it inspiring.
