Rea Elementary Garden Restoration

The Rea Elementary School Garden has been devastated by vandals. The teacher responsible for the garden has written countless grants and spent hours creating this beautiful outdoor classroom. It is a special place where students can tend to the plants and take their harvest home with them.

The Rotary Club of Newport-Balboa immediately sprung into action with the help of a $500 grant from the 5320 Rotary district. We also have funds available through our annual teacher grants, but more support is needed from the community to fully restore the garden for the kids.
