Lumos Transforms is launching a visionary project to catalyze the work of a cohort of small- to medium-sized rights organizations in North America, Europe, Africa, and the SWANA region. Through a three-month immersion in the Resilience Toolkit approach, staff and leadership will develop the embodied resilience to stabilize the impacts of personal and collective trauma. This fundamental internal transformation organically frees organizations from replicating oppressive dynamics. Rather than purely fighting injustice, organizations can shift to a prefigurative and propositional stance rooted in radical collective imagination, empathic relational connection, and sustainable ways of working. Following the foundational immersion, organizations will be eligible to send select staff through the 12-month Lumos Resilience Toolkit Certification Fellows program to deepen and disseminate the Toolkit approach throughout their communities and fields, amplifying the impact of their rights advocacy.
