VIP experience for you and a guest with the Tempe Police K9 Unit. You will have the opportunity to get up close to these fantastic dogs. Attend a K9 training day and see the capabilities of these amazing animals. Routine training days occur on Wednesday evenings (excluding holidays) and can be coordinated with the winner. The winner will observe training in multiple disciplines, including detection, Vapor Wake, building search, and area search. Watch as these dogs use their superior olfactory abilities to source the smallest amounts of odor. Observe how these dogs use their nose to almost look through walls as they hunt down the “bad guy” in a building. During your time with the K9 unit, you will have the opportunity to put on the Bite Suit (must be at least 18 years old) and feel the power of the canine. · Fair Market Value = Priceless (you cannot purchase this experience) · Restrictions: Must be 18 years old to wear the bite suit or bite sleeve · Must be willing to sign a waiver.
