Join now and help children of prisoners... the rewards are exponential!
America On Track’s Mentoring Children of Prisoners (MCP) program matches a child of a prisoner, 6 to 14 years old, with a caring adult volunteer who has been trained and has passed a criminal background check. The adult mentor serves as a positive role model and friend to the child (“mentee”). America On Track provides training and on-going support throughout the mentoring experience. The commitment is for one year and the mentor meets once a week with the child for a 1 to 2-hour session (or more if desired). The sessions can be scheduled at the mentor’s convenience any day of the week. Also, from time to time, America On Track provides free, fun special events for all the participants in the program & four required events per year.
It's a win-win opportunity as you help a child of a prisoner discover a brighter future!
