MCC Rose Garden Revitalization - September 2024

Tempe South Rotary will join with the Mesa West Rotary Club on a signature project to revitalize a local treasure: the Rose Garden at Mesa Community College.  

Volunteers will be needed on multiple days over the month to clean, paint and do minor carpentry to restore a kiosk. This work will be done in coordination with the Mesa-East Valley Rose Society who maintain the garden, and with the Mesa Police Department who will be restoring a veterans monument statue of Ernest McFarland in the Garden.

Volunteer for one of the days of this project which will include power washing the walls of the garden one day. Painting will commence on a separate day. And restoration of a display kiosk will also take place over the month. 

Where: Rose Garden at Mesa Community College (1833 W. Southern Ave, Mesa)
When: September 7th, September 11th, September 14th, and September 21st (exact times TBD)
