Ron Turcotte, Secretariat’s Hall of Fame Rider, was a Canadian thoroughbred race horse jockey. Turcotte was the winner of the U.S. Triple Crown in 1973. After falling from his horse in 1978 at his 8th race at Belmont Park and becoming paraplegic, his legendary career unfortunately came to an end.
