Dear John, Abe and and Linna, Thank you for coming together to put together this fundraising event for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Enjoyed the warm gathering, good food, music and seeing old friends. All there -- despite the cold! -- for a cause that's been on our minds and in the hearts.

For me, a big part of Rotary is not just about Service Above ones own Self. It's also about forming friendships with fellow Rotarians far & wide who can connect you with opportunities to serve in ways you wouldn't have imagined otherwise. In that spirit... I want to thank my friend John Solu (Morro Bay Rotary President) for bringing this great cause to my attention in a very personal & passionate way.
