Earth Day and Arbor Day Celebration
8:00AM – 12:00PM PDT
Celebrate Earth Day with the City of Mission Viejo and the Rotary Club of Orange County Digital with an opportunity to plant trees, do mosaic tiling, and create several craft projects at the Rotary Booth.
Volunteers will have the chance to embrace nature by planting trees and shrubs at Upper Oso Creak Trail by the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. Participants should wear a hat, gloves, boots and sunscreen. Lunch and ice cream will be available for volunteers while supplies last.
Along with the planting, the City is hosting a Green Expo at the park that will feature earth-friendly activities and environmental exhibits with tips on pollution prevention, recycling and more.
