Be a Big Brother or Big Sister!

Since 1925, Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission to the Los Angeles area has been to provide low-income, at-risk youth of all beliefs and backgrounds with strong, enduring, professionally-supported one-to-one relationships with caring adults that change the lives of these young people for the better, forever.

To become a Big Brother or Sister, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Share time by meeting with a youth twice a month for a minimum of one year
• Be available by telephone when visits are not possible (if, for example, you are out of town)
• Fill out a Big Brother Big Sister application and provide five references
• Schedule a personal interview with one of our Enrollment & Matching Specialists
• Possess minimum liability auto insurance if you plan to drive
