April 2023 virtual movie night fundraiser

The Environmental Rotary Club of Puget Sound and the Albers Marcovina Vista Gardens Foundation are proud to host a joint fundraiser on April 15 to raise money for our worthy causes and screen a Hollywood film from the comfort of your own home!
We will show the film The Biggest Little Farm. Director John Chester, his wife Molly and their dog Todd attempt to turn 200 acres of land outside Los Angeles into a sustainable farm. The couple document their quest to work in harmony with the land as well as ward off pests, predators and wildfires to protect their crops and animals.
The Albers Marcovina Vista Gardens began in 1998 when John Albers, and his wife Santica Marcovina purchased a house overlooking the Port Washington Narrows in East Bremerton. John, an avid gardener, started his plans of transforming the lawn into a garden. After a few years, while the botanical garden was taking shape, two more acres adjacent to the original property were acquired.
