Bocas Oral Hygiene Initiative

The Oral hygiene Initiative in Bocas Del Toro is a much needed project involving 1000s of children in local schools around the archipelago of Bocas Del Toro. Not only does every child enrolled in one of the participating schools receive a toothbrush every three months and a supply of sustainable organic toothpaste, they also receive a 5 week education programme on nutrition and the core aspect of dental hygiene. The children here have some of the worst tooth decay throughout the whole of the Americas and even small donations could help provide dental supplies for an entire classroom of children.
