Chain of Hope is a 501c3 grassroots organization with boots on the ground 7 days a week, focused on alleviating the suffering of abused and neglected animals within the urban core of Kansas City, MO. We formed in 2010 and have saved and improved the lives of thousands of animals in Kansas City, MO.
We provide the necessary education, helping owners become aware of the crucial needs of their pets and promoting responsible pet ownership. We also provide medical assistance and free or low-cost spay and neuter. Chain of Hope provides food, shelter, hay, ear gel, fly traps, and flea & tick supplies for those in need. We rescue, rehabilitate, transfer, and adopt unwanted and homeless pets.
Chain of Hope’s mission is to reduce pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering all pets and encouraging others to do the same. Our ultimate goal is to break the chain of ignorance, break the chain of suffering, and break the chain of unwanted litter.
