Camp TLC is a free camp and monthly program experience that connects children who have experienced medical or life trauma by offering unique ways of coping through recreational and performing arts based activities, developing necessary skills and building self-esteem to overcome challenges.

Camp TLC (Together Living a Challenge) launched during the summer of 2011, and “toured” the Northeast for 4 weeks bringing camp to selected organizations in the states of New York, Massachusetts, and Maryland. Camp TLC spent five days in each city and deliver themed-filled activities like those provided by residential for-profit camps. In each location, we worked within the constraints of the facility and the physical or health limitations of the children. And in its first six years, Camp TLC served the needs of more than 1,000 children and family members for 9 different organizations including a very special Camp for the families of Hurricane Sandy. Camp TLC has also made it snow and provided programming to the children residing at the Children's Inn at the NIH on Christmas. In 2017, we launched our newest project to develop and implement a ten-day performing arts Camp on the Pine Ridge Native American Reservation, where substance abuse and suicide attempts of youth are 150 % higher than other parts of the country.

In 2018, we will launch monthly programs for Camp SoCal and Camp Lakota that foster healthy relationships with our volunteers, staff and their peers. Our newest partnerships include the Dee Dee Jackson Foundation and the BEAR Program. We can't wait to share our newest journey's with you!
