Preparatory training prior to joining a tall ship will take place at the Dana Sea Base. At sea training will take place on one of the brigatines IRVING JOHNSON and EXY JOHNSON departing from San Pedro.  Drivers who transport others to San Pedro must be 18 years of age. Initial training will be held on December 16 in Dana Harbor and December 17 in San Pedro.  Subsequent days will be scheduled approximately a month apart ending in April.  

All who took the training in 2023 are encouraged to attend and if qualified are asked to help train the new crew.
