Catskill Juneteenth Celebration

Reverend Turpin, the pastor of the Second Baptist Church is organizing a Catskill Juneteenth celebration that will also feature McClure, the unveiling of the new street sign at the corner of Bridge St and West Main St. (Where the new Stewart’s and Coney Island are).  The plan is to close the street in front of the school there from noon to 4 and have performers, speakers, dancers, etc.  

The Reverend is asking for financial assistance with T-shirts that he’s ordered from a printer in Albany.  The cost is $800. The club can will up $200 to match the initial $200 anonymous donation and then the club will match any other additional individual donation up to $200.  That will give us the $800!
