VALLE VERDE RC PEACE DAY CELEBRATION

The Peace Committee will hold the event at our Peace Pole in the Park and the focus of the event is to honor our Green Valley Fire District who serve as first responders to all sorts of situations in the community.  (Green Valley is unincorporated and the town depends on their services).  They respond to few fires in the community, but they respond to all sorts of emergencies including individuals falling or having a home health emergency.  The men and women of the GV Fire District are trained to preform life saving measures and often do.  The Peace Committee felt highlighting the work they do for the community exemplies the very best in promoting peace and goodwill in the community.
